Outsourced Services
THG offers a range of services for customers that want to outsource the processing of utility invoices. With the most basic service, THG receives a soft copy of customer’s utility data, which we upload into our system, grant online access to the customer, and report detailed information for the customer’s use.
For most customers, however, we receive monthly utility bills, scan them into our system, and recalculate each bill using the meter readings. This allows us to audit them for accuracy and reasonableness by comparing each month’s usage to historic levels. When we find invoice errors, we act as the customer's agent to correct those errors. Reports are issued once or twice each week to customers, showing:
- Which invoices have been received and processed
- Any errors or usage changes
- A complete breakdown of costs for each meter by accounting code, as applicable
- A recap of the calculated and invoiced amounts
- What amounts are due to which utility companies
- Electronic copies of all invoices processed so the customer has access to a copy of each bill
While our proprietary software checks your utility bill, our experience allows us to also evaluate how you can lower costs by altering your usage levels and patterns, service voltage or service level.
